Public Hearing – AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE #420.01(c) Travel and Designated Route

There will be a Public Hearing to secure citizen input regarding an amendment to Ordinance #420.01(c) Travel and Designated Route (Truck Route) on Thursday December 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Senior Center, 410 Jackson St. (Tobin St. entrance).  Information is available HERE, and in the Negaunee City Library and City Manager’s office, 319 W. 2017 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Schedule

Below is a list of Hazardous Waste collection sites available to Marquette County residents. Both sites are open on the listed days from 3pm-7pm.

June 7 – Marquette County Landfill
June 14 – West End Transfer Station
July 12 – Marquette County Landfill
July 19 – West End Transfer Station

September 20 – West End Transfer Station

Senior Citizen Spring Cleanup – Click for info.

The City of Negaunee will have a Spring Cleanup for Senior Citizen’s Only on Wednesday June 7th, Thursday June 8th and Friday June 9th.  Senior Citizen’s can call Great American Disposal at 906-774-9006.  To be on the schedule for pickup you must call on June 1st, 2nd or 5th.  GAD will not be responsible for clearing out homes.  The same parameters as the monthly drop off will be adhered to.
The City of Negaunee provides two monthly drop off’s per month at the end of Lincoln Street.  The second Thursday from Noon to 6 pm and the Last Saturday from 8 am to noon for all citizen’s of Negaunee.
